As COVID-19 hit the world, the future had never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, so right now we are doing everything possible to sustain daily operations and provide services to our community. While there’s a lot of uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt fast to our changing reality. Now, more than ever, our community needs us. But we couldn't do it alone so we collaborated with Kristina and Carol of Homecooked CIC.
Kristina, Carol and team at Homecooked CIC run outreach courses tailored to people of all ages, backgrounds and ability. From working with families and children giving them the best start in life to offering support and guidance, helping to improve people's cookery skills and diet. “We engage with socially isolated and hard to reach groups, and would like
to work in partnership with other local organisations to help break down health inequalities in the Liverpool area. We offer either one off sessions or courses usually running between 4 to 6 weeks. We come to you, and provide all equipment and ingredients. Our courses are inclusive and fun, often a great first step to joining in with a group activity and connecting with others, You’ll always be made welcome!! “
Homecooked@OutHouse is an Emergency Covid -19 Food Relief project. A collaboration between Homecooked CIC and Our House Walton Community Hub delivering healthy homemade meals and food packages to individuals and families both large and small that are struggling during this period.
