Pearl Street (part of Our House Community) is looking for a creative and compassionate Women’s Wellbeing Worker to support women involved in sex work and/or substance use through therapeutic, engaging, and empowering wellbeing activities. You’ll help design and deliver group sessions, one-to-one support, and connect women with activities that bring joy, connection, and purpose.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting women in community or wellbeing settings
  • Creativity and confidence in running crafts/creative/wellbeing sessions
  • A trauma-informed, relational approach
  • A full UK driving license and car required

Due to the nature of the work, this role is open to women only.

Are you passionate about making a difference in a Liverpool community? Do you have expertise in finance, safeguarding, HR, or IT? At Our House Community we are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who believe in what we do to join our Board of Trustees and help us continue to provide compassionate spaces where people can connect, get involved and find a sense of belonging.


The Opportunity

We are seeking new Trustees to join our board. We are particularly focussed on recruiting people with experience in these areas:

  • Treasurer: A financial expert to oversee their financial management, budgeting, and sustainability
  • Safeguarding: An individual with experience in safeguarding to ensure the safety and well-being of our community members
  • HR experienced: Someone with experience in human resources
  • IT/Digital Specialist: A professional with IT expertise to help them enhance their IT and digital infrastructure to support their growing needs.

What We Offer

As a Trustee of Our House Community, you will have the opportunity to

  • Play a crucial role in supporting their staff team to shape the future of their charity
  • Work with a passionate and committed team
  • Gain experience and develop skills in charity governance.

Time Commitment

We are asking for a minimum two-year commitment including regular board meetings, focussed committee work, and participation in trustee training and annual team and strategy days.
Trustee roles are voluntary, but reasonable out-of-pocket expenses can be reimbursed.
