· Act with integrity and honesty.

· Promote relationships that are based on openness, honesty, trust and respect.
· Deal with issues informally, directly & respect with team members where possible.
· Treat everyone fairly and without prejudice or discrimination or judgement.
· Ensure language is appropriate and not offensive or discriminatory.
· Ensure any equipment is used safely and for its intended purpose.
· Challenge any unacceptable behaviour in an appropriate and professional manner and report any breaches of this Code of Conduct or any concerns without delay to a director or trustee.
· Act in a way that is sensitive, non-threatening and non-judgemental.
· Respect everyone’s right to confidentiality and ensure that any personal information is kept secure and not disclosed.
· Volunteers are not obligated to work at specific times, but if you commit to doing something and are unable to, ensure that your project lead is made aware as soon as possible.
· Be consistent, committed and realistic about what we can offer to Our House Community as a whole and also the individuals we support.
· Report any concerns or allegations to your line manager or a director promptly, this includes abuse, misconduct, fraud or any other concerns you may have.
· Not develop any inappropriate relationships such as contact with vulnerable adults or children that is not a part of the work of Our House Community.
· Keep good boundaries and do not share any personal or contact details (Non-work telephone number, email, address) or have contact with vulnerable adults via a personal social media account.
